The versatile Pipestoppers® Inflatable Stoppers can be inserted and retracted through small holes and then inflated to full size for stopping operations. They are used to service a wide variety of industrial applications and are available in the following ranges:

The Standard Range of Inflatable Pipe Stoppers are available for immediate delivery with sizes ranging from 1 to 96" (25 to 2440 mm).
Cylindrical Inflatable Stoppers will not invert (turn over) inside a pipe when under pressure, because they are longer than their diameter.

Heat Resistant Inflatable Stoppers
The PetroChem Inflatable Stoppers are identical in appearance and performance to the Standard Inflatable Stoppers, except that the inside inflatable latex part is enclosed in a thin, flexible rubber that is resistant to the petrochemical fluids and vapours.
Heat Resistant Inflatable Covers are available with a performance rating to give protection up to a temperature of 300°C (572°F).

HFT Pipestoppers® Cylindrical Inflatable Stoppers are available from 1 to 96" (25 to 2440 mm) diameter.
They are manufactured using a high quality robust latex inner tube and polyurethane impregnated nylon fabric outer cover and are supplied with a length of flexible inflation hose and sealing valve.
Inflatable Stoppers are available with heat resistant covers to protect them against high temperartures.
All HFT Pipestoppers® Inflatable Pipe Stoppers are manufactured with a strong internal inflatable bag made to the required shape and covered in a waterproof sewn polyurethane coated nylon for low friction and to prevent the production of static electricity or accidental sparking.
Heat Resistant Covers are available as an accessory for the Standard Cylindrical Inflatable Stoppers range for when they are exposed to temperatures of up to 300ºC (572ºF).
These specially designed Covers can endure high temperatures, which protects the Inflatable Stopper, preventing them being damaged or bursting.
The Heat Resistant Covers are reusable time and time again, without losing their heat protecting properties.
HFT Pipestoppers® Heat Resistant Covers are manufactured to suit all sizes within the Standard Inflatable Stoppers range 1 – 96” (25 to 2,440 mm).
These Heat Resistant cover are also identical for use on the chemical resistant inflatable stopped called PetroChem Stoppers.
Technical Data and Specification
HFT® Pipestoppers® Inflatable Stoppers are supplied with an inflation hose fitted with a Schrader valve.
1 to 24" Inflatable Stoppers have a 1.3 m hose length, 8 mm ID, 14 mm OD and are fitted with a standard Schrader valve.
HFT Pipestoppers® Inflatable Stoppers are totally collapsible and lightweight making them easy to handle on site and to ship around the World.
Each Inflatable Stopper is made specifically to suit the ambient conditions.
HFT Pipestoppers® Cylindrical and Inflatable Stoppers are usually supplied as standard with no through tube. Specials as well as Stoppers with through tubes are available as non-standard.
Foot pumps can be supplied where required.
